I had this same problem with MMs every time I bought this stock.
Why don't MMs just raise the bid if they couldn't fill my
order at the ask? Instead they lowered the bid and looked for
shares at lower bids, then filled my order.

BTW, I'm back in VSVR at 7 15/16. Can't afford to pass this oppor.
