Thanks to Scrapps who stars on the Aware thread there is a good reference to Siemens XDSL solutions. Amati and TI are mentioned in it as well as other vendors like Aware for g.lite:

For the trade press
The Siemens Information and Communication Networks Group offers service providers global end-to-end solutions for implementing all DSL technologies. The range of technologies available includes ADSL, U-ADSL/G.Lite, HDSL and SDSL. Using systems from Siemens, service providers can connect subscribers either to the ATM broadband access system XpressLink D in the local exchange, or to the digital switching system EWSD, or via the network access system FastLink. The requisite DSL technologies and the user products are developed by Siemens both in their own research laboratories and in close cooperation with global leaders in this field such as Infineon, Amati Corp., Aware Inc., Efficient Networks Inc. and Texas Instruments Inc. Cooperation is in areas of joint activities such as specifications for innovative applications in hardware and software, development, manufacturing, product sales and marketing as well as complete solutions. At the forefront of all the development work is the task of creating DSL system solutions tailored to the individual needs of the service providers and suitable for setting up an end-to-end DSL infrastructure with the appropriate services such as teleworking, remote LAN access and faster Internet access.
Joint ventures for DSL technology exist with:
Amati Communications Corp., San Jose, California, USA, for joint development of products for transmitting ATM data via ADSL connections. Amati develops ADSL end devices and software which Siemens integrates into ATM systems. Siemens has been working together with Amati and Texas Instruments since the end of 1996 on XpressLink D and ADSL and since end of 1998 they have integrated G.Lite as a software option in XpressLink D. Amati was bought up by Texas Instruments over a year ago but cooperation between Siemens and TI continues.
Aware Inc., Bedford, Massachusetts, USA, in the area of U-ADSL/G.Lite technology for rapid subscriber access to the Internet. Aware supplies G.lite-compatible DSL system design, software models and services for optimization at the system level. G.Lite (U-ADSL) software from Aware is implemented in the Subscriber Line Module (SLM) using network access technology - in the EWSD digital switching system at the interface to the subscriber.
Efficient Networks Inc., Dallas, USA, for joint development , manufacturing and sales of end-to-end solutions for digital subscriber connections (DSL) with the ATM broadband access system XpressLink D by service providers based on ATM technology. Efficient Networks develops and markets CPE devices with the SpeedStream DSL product range such as external Ethernet modems, external USB modems as well as internal modems and adapters for end users. Efficient's Speedstream products are used in XpressLink D and EWSD as subscribers' modems.
Infineon Technologies, a Siemens subsidiary, for developing innovative semiconductor solutions for the EWSD system. Infineon is global leader in semiconductor manufacturing for integration of interfaces for telecommunications.
Texas Instruments Inc. (TI), Dallas, USA for developing an integrated subscriber line card for EWSD local exchanges. EWSD uses a digital signal processor (DSP) from TI which uses TMS320C6000 technology. The subscriber line card forms a G.Lite (U-ADSL) interface. Voice communication using this technology occurs in parallel with data communication in accordance with the specifications for G.Lite. The Siemens solution currently supports two subscriber modems per DSP (eight subscriber connections with voice and data communication per card) and enables service providers to equip their EWSD switching systems for DSL technology without requiring additional racks or new cabling in the local exchange. In addition or alternately, XpressLink D offers the option of incorporating both ADSL and G.Lite in all existing networks independent from the existing narrowband technology. XpressLink D currently offers the highest integration with two G.Lite or ADSL subscribers per card with the next version increasing the number of subscribers to sixteen. G.Lite implementation from Siemens and TI allows Internet access without changes to home cabling, "Plug and Play" and without diplexers (splitter or network termination, NT) at both connection ends.
Siemens is developing a rapid Internet access for ISDN subscribers with SDSL for speeds of up to 2.3 Mbit/s in both directions.
Siemens uses its extensive experience in the technology of voice-data integration to integrate the various DSL technologies into the broadband access system XpressLink D as well as into the EWSD switching system family and the Access Network System FastLink
XpressLink D from Siemens is a broadbandconnection system providing broadband IP and ATM services via ADSL, U-ADSL/G.Lite and in the future also SDSL and VDSL technology via copper cable. XpressLink D can be installed in the local exchange or in a 3GDLC system (Integrated Narrowband/Broadband Digital Loop Carrier System), e.g. in FastLink D as an access platform for comprehensive end-to-end services.
EWSD from Siemens are digital communication systems which combine the currently separate networks for voice/ISDN, Internet traffic and broadband communication. Under the banner "EWSD Innovations" with its EWSD PowerNode, EWSD InterNode and EWSD BroadbandNode, Siemens is developing high performance platforms for all existing and new communication services and, with its modern broadband family, is offering a universal infrastructure for Internet, voice and data. It supports popular services from voice communication via the Internet to multimedia applications via one uniform network access. EWSD Innovations offers network providers solutions for rapid and flexible provision of newly-combined voice/data services. The end customer can be offered all the services from a single source.
FastLink from Siemens is a modular access system used for telephony, data networks, city and corporate networks. FastLink is a universal platform providing the operator with a uniform system for all services under the common management system AccessIntegrator.
