I see no reason why selling Snapple should affect negatively their decision to carry Stewart's.

1) The decision to sell off Snapple wasn't made overnight. Mr. Natural likely knew about it for some time.
2) If anything, it will mean Quaker has *less* reason to push Snapple (which they don't produce any more), which means their other beverages will have a greater share of their attention.

I note that Snapple and Stewart's are in a similar price range. Hmmm...weak sugar water or a strong head of root beer? Even at 12 vs. 16 oz. I'd take Stewart's any day.

The premium soft drink market is starting to look like the microbrew market many years ago, before all the IPOs. Lots of smaller companies starting to brew premium root beers, ginger beers, etc. All it takes is for people to realize that you can have premium non-alcoholic beverages too -- and for bars to then start serving something non-boring (i.e. something besides Coke) for the designated driver/non-drinkers.
