Unfortuately Mephisto the reviewer offhandedly dismisses MAJC as just another "media chip" rather than what it really is namely a highly scalable,real-time, broadband, Java parallel processing NETWORK CHIP freed from legacy restrictions and designed for convergence of communications media and computers (audio, video, data). In other words IT IS SUN'S NEW COMPUTING VISION ETCHED IN SILICON ON A MULTIPLE PROCESSOR SYSTEM ON A CHIP (MPSOC -- probably from LSI Logic which should make Addi happy). The Network is .....
