X,

I've noticed that my children don't read that much (poor example). Lately the twins have petitioned for a new Nintendo 64 console (they have Playstation). I told them that if they read 10 quality books each I will buy it for them. Yes, it is a bribe but its an incentive to read.

I told them that the books must not be movie or Nickelodeon type books. I also do not want them reading Animorph or Goosebump type books that seem to be very T.V. series like.I suggested that they ask the librarian for a decent book.

What would you recommend for 10 year old boys that have not been big readers?

Thanks,
Tom
