Phillip, another thing I have been thinking about while reading all the bashers' reasons that the card will not work is this: Who would think that people would spend $25 for a card that allows them the privilege to shop? Anybody here a member of Sam's Club? That is the most stupid thing I have heard of. I have refused to buy a card about 3 times because I simply am not going to pay for the privilege of shopping. Then a colleague did some comparison shopping on my behalf. When I saw the potential savings on purchases that are unavoidable, spending $25 for the privilege of shopping didn't look so stupid......The MusicCard will save people money--significant money. Not unimportantly, kids who don't have endless funds can save several dollars per CD. How can anybody sit there and say this has no appeal! And saving money is just part of it. What about the convenience? Am I going to get in my car, drive 10-12 miles into the city, park at Barnes & Noble, wander around that huge store and find my book, pay for it, and drive home? Or am I going to fire up the 'puter, go to Amazon, order my book, and be amazed by the convenience of the whole process when my book arrives in 3 days? I really like the convenience of Amazon when it comes to buying books.......When the bashers come at us full force, it is hard to remember the basic appeal of this company, but it is still there.
