Joan I rarely question a post but my own experience is that most dealers and OEMS consider the Japanese mfgers as the premium vendors with Samsung and then Micron with the rest of the Koreans and TXN,MOT and Siemens taking up the rear. I don't believe your daughters customers are specifically asking for Micron but are using Micron for two reasons. 1-They are the cheapest of the more reliable vendors 2-The VARs that are selling and servicing the equipment are installing Micron if true and because of reliability have no complaints when it comes to their memory. I agree there is problems with low end producers in certain applications but a preference on the high end is usually driven by price. Regards Jerry
