Sorry for the slow reply Allen. I was at the PA ag progress show today and had a chance to talk to a Monsanto manager. Sounded like companies number one ag problem (and a big one) is getting European's to accept GM crops (corn, beans, etc.). Since cotton isn't consumed (maybe seed meal is) DLP should still be of interest to MTC. DLP has some nice patents, a decent sales force and some earnings so I guess $23 sounds reasonable stand alone. If Mr.Schechter is as reliable as he sounds then maybe the request may not be a deal squasher by itself. biz.yahoo.com This usdoj.gov may help explain what they are looking for. I usually only go out one to two months on the cc's. I changed from DLP to CSE for my ag play when it fell. Will be ccing DLP again now. AA
