I'm trying to do earnings estimates based on my own IOMG model. I'm told there's a lot of seasonality in the business and am uncertain how to account for this. I know 4th quarter is strong, but their 1st quarter was even stronger. Is seasonality likely to be a factor when demand for the Zip is so strong? Also, is there any news about ramp-up of Jaz sales and tie-rate of disk to drive sales? This ratio is key to what Kim Edwards calls the "disk annuity" which will eventually comprise the majority of IOMG sales and earnings once Zip and Jaz have reached saturation.

The Zack's 2nd quarter estimate is $.07 ($.14 pre-split). With a Zip sell rate of 1.3 million for the quarter (reasonable, i think), i would expect the quarter to come in at $.10-.12 post-split. With modest Zip and Jaz growth rates (my model assumes 5.7 million Zip sales for '96 with a total installed base of 7 million ZIps by year end), expected sales of $1.4 billion and earnings of $.60 post split.
Any other security analysts out there with different data and assumptions, let's get some real data to discuss and enough of the hype!
