Phil: On the radio news today it was stated that Oregon has the highest price per gallon of gas in the NATION!! More than Hawaii, and New York and Florida ... unbelievable! The State voters have turned away self service stations in 2 separate ballot measures over the last 12 years! I think years ago, people did not want to give up their "service" stations ... now we don't have service stations, just gas stations. I suspect the next time the self-service issue comes to the surface, the public may take time to rethink the issue and it will likely change. Mel ... retired and "havin' fun"!
