If you possessed the ability of rational thought, humble inquiry and
a desire for truth, you could confirm His claims for yourself by reading
the New Testament with an open mind. You will find there abundant historical
proof of the Divinity of Jesus and the sincerity of His claim to have
died for the sins of mankind and having been raised from the dead.

The best part is that you can confirm His claims by an experiment.
The Lord says that 'if you call upon Him with all your heart, you shall
find Him'. If you have enough courage and faith, try it.
Pray a simple prayer like:

Lord Jesus. If you are truly the divine Son of God who came to die for
my sins reveal yourself to me that I might believe and have eternal life and
be filled with Your Holy Spirit. It requires the smallest effort of faith on
your part. He will be there to confirm His Word.

Lord, I know that they have blasphemed against your Holy Word and they
have blasphemed against Your Holy person--Lord, you are a loving God,
full of mercy and longsuffering. Hold not these sins against them Lord
for they know not what they do. Move upon their hearts and minds that they
may have a sincere and humble desire to know the truth. I pray in Jesus's
name and I claim the blood of Jesus upon the Galt thread Lord. I pray for
a spirit of sincerity and truth to come upon this thread.
