To All:

If Lucent can interest MCI and GTE to evaluate its Internet Telephony offering (see referenced quote) with its just announced, not available product, why hasn't Dialogic already gotten a similiar interest through its relationship with Vocaltek? Apparently, Vocaltek has teamed with Dialogic for Internet Telephony for the telephone company in Finland and, I think, Australia, but no announcements in the USA. Can anyone speculate why?

Reference: In my previous post, the press release quotes Lucent saying "MCI Communications and France Telecom each plans to try out Lucent's platform, called Lucent Internet Telephony Server SP, while GTE Corp's GTE Telephone Operations said it plans to conduct a laboratory evaluation of Lucent's platform beginning this May".
