LOS ANGELES, Aug 19, 1999 (ENTERTAINMENT WIRE via COMTEX) --
FirstMiracle Group Inc. (OTC BB:MVEE) announced today that it has
acquired the rights to "When Nietzsche Wept," authored by Irvin D.
Yalom, M.D., a nationally best-selling novel and winner of the coveted
Commonwealth Award for Best Fiction.

"When Nietzsche Wept" will be produced by Academy Award(TM) and Golden
Globe(TM) nominee Pincus Perry ("Gaby: A True Story"), and First
Miracle's CEO Tony Cataldo.

Cataldo commented: "Pincus Perry, co-producer of the highly
sought-after screenplay 'Alicia's Book,' has once again delivered to
the company a high-profile project which will appeal to the A-list
group of talent in Hollywood and will likely be a major studio release,
making it another strong asset for the company's shareholders. This
acquisition exemplifies our commitment tobuilding a leading
entertainment company."

As summarized by Harper Perennial, a Division of Harper Collins
Publishers:

"'When Nietzsche Wept' is a riveting blend of fact and fiction, a
drama of love, fate, and will, played out against the
intellectual ferment of nineteenth-century Vienna on the eve of
the birth of psychoanalysis. Friedrich Nietzsche, Europe's
greatest philosopher ... Josef Breuer, one of the founding
fathers of psychoanalysis ... a secret pact ... a young medical
intern named Sigmund Freud: These are the elements that combine
to create the unforgettable saga of an imagined relationship
between an extraordinary patient and a gifted healer."

The best-selling novel has received national acclaim from well-known
fiction reviewers, including: Colin Walther, Washington Times, who
called it "Absolutely gripping," and Ron Hansen, Los Angeles Times Book
Review, who characterized it as "Fascinating ... A shrewd intellectual
thriller."

Author Yalom is a leading existential psychotherapist and author of a
best-selling textbook on psychotherapy, "Theory and Practice of Group
Psychotherapy."

First Miracle Group is an independent and diversified film company with
a unique corporate structure based on strategic and exclusive alliances
with high-quality content producers, including Long Road Films and
Emmett/Furla Films. First Miracle Group recently acquired the rights to
"Alicia's Book," an original screenplay by Stanford Whitmore, and has
