RE: Gulf Canada Resources Ltd - Globe says Novus buys Gulf assets in Australia Gulf Canada Resources Ltd GOU Shares issued 348,950,044 1999-08-18 close $6.6 Thursday Aug 19 1999 The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Aug. 19, edition that Australia's Novus Petroleum has agreed to buy all of Gulf Canada Resources' production and exploration interests in the Cooper Basin in South Australia. The Globe's News Bulletins column reports that Novus will pay $113.3-million for the assets, excluding working capital adjustments.
