Steven, I agree with your assessment of Stratfor, though their pieces do make for some lively and dramatic reading. Also provocative. At least they make you think about the world in different ways. In this case, today's NYT has an article on deflation in China. I just saw the headline and read the first few graphs. Of course, the article may have been taken from Stratfor sources! Recycled news is common enough these days. Everyone verifies everyone else working from secondary sources. Cool.
