Binx,
>Do the new Kodak 2 Megapixel cameras use Sandisk cards?<

I don't have a definitive answer to your question. However, I contacted an owner of a DC280 and got this response:

"Hi, ....in order for your computer to have USB it has to be fairly new..mine is 4 months old from gateway...you also have to be running windows 98 since 95 doesn't support usb....the dc280 comes with wires for usb and serial
connections ..basically you just plug the standard usb plug into the back of your computer and the other end goes into the camera...the transfer is much quicker than serial but i tried serial transfer on another computer and it isnt that bad..the label on the cf card is Kodak Picture Card......don't let the other reviews tell you that the interval between pics is 20seconds...since you can take three pictures quickly because of the interal ram buffer i find myself never pausing for the camera to write to disk...by the time i'm done composing my next shot at least one of those three first pics is out of the way already
:) feel free to email me any other questions"

I'm sure that Kodak is astute enough to require reliability in their CF cards. In my view SanDisk in effect has a patent on reliability. I thought that I read at one time that SanDisk was going to supply Kodak with CF cards.

Notice that there is no reference to ImageMate. Maybe the owner of the DC280 is a potential buyer!
