The Market... This volatility is normal. Also keep in mind that the average daily volatility is 100 points now so moves of 100 either way is normal. Short term indicator are firming up but I would like to get past this expiration week before any changes take place. Don't buy into market pundit articles on doom and gloom. Stick to the indicators. Jan: Thanks for passing along Tom's and you market insight... Very valuable advice... Moves of 100 points these days are less than 1%... Nothing to get excited about... I also believe that the FED meeting 1/4 point hike will be the turning point for an upward move in the market... A review of past charts shows that MA crossovers usually confirm a primary trend... Right now that trend is up... The New Lows continue to dry up... finance.yahoo.com Several days in a row of New Lows below 100... The numbers keep getting lower...
