DSO = Days Sales Outstanding. It is the average number of days that invoices are uncollected. In other words, how long does it take for them to collect the cash after a system is shipped.

DSO is an excellent indication of customer satisfaction and of whether the company is doing funny stuff (like channel stuffing for shipping against non-existent purchase orders) to inflate the revenue numbers.
