Doug, I don't see anything inherently incongruous in those two statements. You may be comparing Rarebird's extensive preparations vs. his claim to be moderate. Or perhaps it's the professed love of life vs. not wanting to live in a post-apocalyptic world. Or perhaps it's something I'm not seeing. In any event, I can easily reconcile the two statements. I would hate to see people discouraged from sharing their philosophies of life and their feelings out of fear of having them picked apart. I, for one, am interested in what is in others' minds and hearts. (Their information and conclusions, on the other hand, are IMO fair game.) Karen
