Hi DW:

In addition to the $6M it is currently showing in cash,
SPDE received about $20M from NXLK's stock purchase in
July (minus the cost of the fiber it purchased in NY),
anfd it will receive another $20M when the spectrum
transfer to NXLK closes. This should give SPDE about
$45M in cash.

Since Shant seems particularly interested in
keeping his nice $250K-$300K yearly paycheck
(plus stock options), here is what I think he should
do: close all operations, and perhaps even sell
the last 150MHz of spectrum, and put all the money
in some nice corporate bonds. This should give SPDE
a nice $3M-$4M income per year. This is far more than
SPDE will be able to generate by keeping its operations going.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy
