Re: CF Conference

Ok, so I made a leeetle mistake -- Chelsea Piers does not have mini-golf (although it DOES have everything else, including an impressive driving range that extends over the Hudson). I searched everywhere, but couldn't find a mini-golf outfit in Manhattan (if you can believe it!). There actually used to be a place that had indoor mini-golf, but I guess it closed awhile back.

So here's the proposal for a nice, leisurely Saturday...how about meeting, say, around 1PM at Chelsea Pier for lunch at The Chelsea Brewing Company:

following lunch, folks can choose to rent rollerblades (great, great path along the Hudson all the way to the World Trade Center), hit golf balls or whatever... As a substitute for the dearth of mini-golf courses in NYC, Chelsea Piers DOES have a bunch of bowling lanes where we can stage a nice tournament.

I would guess that many attendees who are from out of town may want to take the day to go sightseeing. Alternatively, if we have enough folks interested in a less breakneck afternoon, the future Mrs. Zuma and I will definitely be bringing our rollerblades down to Chelsea to have lunch, skate, bowl, drink beer and talk about EBPP (not necessarily in that order) with anyone who's interested.

Also -- as a reminder -- if you're planning on going to the theater on Saturday night, I HIGHLY recommend getting your tickets as soon as possible. You can generally buy them on line and they'll hold 'em at the window for you. For those not going to the theater, I'm sure we can drum up some interesting group activities for those who are interested...
