it's short term overbought and due for a rest. it should take a big rest imo. a good intermediate resting point would be 6,75%, on the way to 8,5%. i know that's wishful thinking, but wouldn't it be great? what a screaming buy the bond would be at 8,5%...imagine in '87 you could still get over 10% yield. the compounded yield + the capital gains since then make for quite a performance.
