Good for them if they did. I'm just amazed at times how little DD effort people make when they look into BB stocks. There are quite a few little gems out there - PLNM is one of them. The info from the Black and Co report is a great place to start from to get some DD. It should be available on www.multex.com soon according to Black and Co.

The most encouraging thing that I found from the report is in the last paragraph and is worth repeating:

In addition, LION's burgeoning rela-tionship with Fannie
Mae and subsequent relationships with other GSE's (read Freddie Mac and
Indy Mac) and loan origination software vendors (read Calyx and Byte)
represent upside opportunities not entirely reflected in our estimates.

And they carry on to say:

We estimate that LION will have revenue of $4.6 million in calendar 1999
and earnings per share of ($0.10), and of $16.0 million in calendar 2000
and earnings per share of $0.01. Our twelve-month price target is $5.10
cents or 8 times our year 2000 sales estimate of $16.0 million. For
investors whose risk and financial circumstances permit selection of
select bulletin board securities we recommend purchase of Plenum
Communications shares.

So they give it 5 bucks in 12 months without taking into account any
of the other relationships that PLNM has forged.
