You could never in your wildest imagination begin to know what life was like for the elderly, and handicapped before SS came into being..Robert Ball at 85 knows ..that is why he is still fighting to keep the basic principles intact..Would you like to walk over dead bodies in the street??? I have watched the current generation lose the freedom that my generation enjoyed, I am only too happy to pay my income tax. I know what it was like to live through WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. "Monday morning quarterbacking" is easy..:-) SD P.S. My heart surgery went well...
