Gregory A. Chapin Joins Board of Directors

LAKE ELSINORE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 19, 1999-- Effectively immediately, Gregory A. Chapin joins the current Board of Directors of Medinah Mining, Inc. and assumes the position of Secretary/Director.

Mr. Chapin is a highly respected business professional and has extensive experience in a wide array of business environs. He has been instrumental in providing business solutions to numerous multi-faceted start-up operations. His services are in constant demand by national and international business industries. Mr. Chapin's ultimate goal is to build the market value of any business by assessing the right management infrastructure and people environment, and directing them towards profitability.

Prior to joining the Board of Directors of Medinah Mining, Inc., Mr. Chapin served as the President/CEO/Chairman of the Board of Manning Real Estate Partners, LLP. His role in this endeavour was to oversee operations of Maritime Gaming Corporation, a California casino operation. At present, Mr. Chapin continues to serve as the CEO/Chairman of the Board of Keystone Lanes Inc. Mr. Chapin also continues to serve as a consultant and advisory Board member to several diverse business enterprises.

Mr. Chapin has a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration with Masters studies in Business Administration and Counseling from La Verne University. He also holds a Teaching Credential from the State of California. In 1993, Mr. Chapin retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department after heading their Organized Crime Unit. He is constantly sought after by both governmental agencies and private enterprises to lecture and consult in many fields, and includes in his experience, numerous sessions as an instructor to the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation, State of California, Justice Department, and the Office of the Attorney General.

Mr. Chapin is presently reviewing the properties and corporate structure of Medinah and will be preparing a summary for distribution to Shareholders.

The Directors are preparing the necessary documentation for filing with the Regulatory authorities to establish full reporting status for the company, which will be ready in time to meet the applicable filing dates.

The Directors welcome Mr. Chapin to the Board and anticipate that his vast business experience will be a valuable addition to assist in the continuing performance of Medinah Mining, Inc.
