DevilDude,

whaddya mean who is paul wick? I thought money managers are to the 90's what rock stars were to the 70's, except the mutual fund guys go to bed earlier of course.

Paul Wick runs the Seligman Communication and Information Fund and just started some kind of public VC fund. He had a very hot hand back in '94-'95 ish and you used to be able to hear a pin drop when he would ask question at road shows and conferences coming off that streak. He is often quoted in mini-Barrons roundtables with people like Chip Morris at T Rowe Price (i think) and the prematurely retired John Force of Pilgrim Baxter. I think at the Goldman Tech conference in '98 they had a panel featuring Cramer, Force, Morris and Wick although my memory is fading. He gets a fair amount of ink.

Wick is considered one of the shrewder tech players out there although god only knows what took him so long to buy this stock. I don't think he is known for ever being a sloppy seller like some people.

As far as the shareholder base we are in deep shit if Putnam, Fidelity or AIM wakes up on the wrong side of bed. Putnam's position in the stock looks especially Titanic.
Oops i mean gigantic.

Say nice things about Boston now
