Thanks for the note Rick. I guess if by the WDC forum you mean the WDC thread, I will be there. It is one of my biggest holdings. Thanks for letting me know the earnings will be announced on the 10th/11th. I understand the stock is suppose to split but I haven't been following it a whole lot. I've been pretty busy with other things.

My feeling about EXXON is still about the same as when I started buying it after the Persian Gulf War. Oil is a strategic center of gravity in the world. If the oil fields in the Middle East are disrupted seriously, and I think they will be sooner or later, oil companies with large holdings outside the Middle East will do well. Exxon is well positioned in this regard. My perception of Exxon, having some knowledge of world macroeconomics and politics, is that they play the international oil game with fanatical skill and expertise...Exxon knows how to, and likes to dominate. Anyway, I look at Exxon as a good long term investment. After the split I think the stock will slowly start climbing again.

Take care, and good luck with your investments! Denise

OK Rick, I was just looking at your past notes on your profile and laughed my head off at the one about the CIA recruits!
