Everybody's entitled to post unsupported opinions, it just seems that if you're so intent upon arguing that AMZN's valuation is unsupported, you would at least offer supports of your opinion to give them value. I'm not pretending to be an expert on AMZN's future, but I can tell you that as a loyal customer, they have the marketing thing DOWN COLD. I am a sucker for quick click ordering off of e-mails that they send to me. I don't particularly spend a lot of time running to other search engines to see if I can find the same book for a few cents less. I've always found their service to be great, and for the volume that they are doing, that's pretty impressive. Haven't heard a lot of bitching about outages etc. either. Walmart will be a challenge for certain, but I'm particularly impressed by the acknowledgement of Walmart that AMZN is a competitive threat...If WalMart acknowledged my little Sarasota mom and pop operation as a threat, imagine what its market cap could become...
