You wouldn't sell a Gorilla candidate in the middle of a tornado, would you.

Or would you sell an annointed King growing at 90%?

FranQ, perhaps we should take this Gorilla/King discussion over to "your" thread. We don't want to scare folks here with this kinda talk, do we!

BTW, fellow NTAP threadsters, Uncle Frank and I and a some folks a whole lot smarter than I carry on this way over on the Gorilla and Kings thread:

Subject 25851

(Some of us have made some serious money as a result of these kinds of discussions. We have a couple of QCOM Quillionaires over there, for example.)

I have pretty well annointed NTAP as "King of NAS" and EMC as "King of SAN". Now I am attempting to clarify my thinking as to whether NTAP is a Gorilla contender for a broader definintion of the yet-to-be-named market that EMC and NTAP are going after.

Read the thread's header to get a feel for what a King and Gorilla are, as defined by the most excellent book "The Gorilla Game" by Geoffrey Moore, the thread's reference manual.
