IMO the rotation into cyclicals is all part of analyst and media manipulation. They convinced us all a year or so ago that the cyclicals were duds not worth our attention, and in spite of improving fundamentals for the stocks they said we should be buying (techs and financials), they are now trying to convince us that we should again be in cyclicals. Therefore, I expect that by year end the cyclicals will again be out of favor. Add to that that the banks no longer rely so much on low interest rates, and you will see that the lack of appeciation of bank share prices will at some point reverse...
