Stan,

Unless any substantial and compelling arguments surface to the contrary from others, I suggest we adopt the classification system in your post as a working model and do as you suggest...move on to developing an appropriate response protocol for each of the three types of problem posters.

I might have gotten a little ahead of the game in offering a particular post up for an exercise in classification. However, classifying a potential problem post does come before developing a response.

In any case, we first classify, then respond. Respond how? As you say, that's the next question to explore.
