Actually Cascade has a presence in the carrier class market for ATM. This area is bieng challenged by FORE (which has a strong presence in the corporate ATM market) and is now making incursions into the ISP space. That could be one of the reasons for CAscade's slumping earnings, slower growth in the frame relay space. More and more carriers are looking at ATM and there is plenty of competition from the likes of fore, Cisco/Stratacom , Nortel, GDC, Newbridge, and Lucent. Anindo
