I'm a Seattle resident who had the surgery done in March in Vancouver, BC. I paid $700 (for both eyes). Their typical price is $1350 for both and it's pissed off all the laser centers here in the Seattle area as everyone is running north of the border for 1/5 the cost plus Canada is about 5 years ahead on the technology side. The point I'm trying to make is kind of like the Taco Bell effect....They're selling a hell of a lot more tacos at .69 then they were at .89 some years ago and making a bunch more money...These price wars are nothing but publicity and will ultimately draw more customers. Those Sept. 7.5 calls I just picked up for a buck are looking better and better. bruiser
