Budweiser is not beer in the classic sense: it is a partially fermented rice mixture, unaged, unflavored, carbonated and stabilzed by chemicals to retain a very long shelf-life and consumed at nearly the temperature of ice. Its appeal in the U.S. is its price (low), packaging (great looking can, lack of objectional flavors and availabilty...it seems to be available everywhere.

People who like beer do not drink Budweiser. People who like ice cold dry soda with a buzz like budweiser and its copy cats.

Its too bad that the English language's word "beer" encompases the budweisers and its competitors with low carbonated, brews of fermented grains spiced with hops and consumed at near room temperature.

Once a real beer is tasted, there is no turning back to Bud.
