I agree there will be no quick recovery this time.

However, I am not sure about when the crash will happen, this year or next. Earlier on, I thought it might happen this year in view of the fact that next year is the presidential election year.

But, on the other hand, because Y2K is just around the corner, a crash this year will certainly spoil Christmas and this coupled with Y2K just around the corner will make life highly aggravating for all and much to the detriment of the politicians. So, the crash will happen next year after the Y2K thing is over?
