John - are we to believe that these utilities in all these cities haven't advanced the date to 01/01/2001 on a trial test? What sanctions would Lord face for outright scaremongering? And, put it another way - there are tens of thousands of employees involved - are they all muzzled? There is so much potential for investigative journalism here that you wonder why the military is the only one privy to this information? We see the same thing in Canada - with stories (possibly true) of leave being cancelled, shelters, etc. But one should also be wary and sceptical of all of this - the potential for a massive con/scare job is huge. d
