I spent last week at BrainShare and I was impressed. This was the third year I had had the chance to go and of the three it was the best. Less hype and more substance. Not that there wasnt enough hype there too... The shootout between Microsoft,Novell,and Netscape's proxy webservers was interesting, Novell was 8x faster than NT and 4x faster than Netscape. The joint efforts with Netscape, Sun, and all the internet server stuff looks like a really strong play. The new CEO should bring alot to the party. The turn arround wont be over night but IMHO it is happening. DCHand
