i can see the suspensions coming.... but unto bigger and better things:
top 10 wrong headed ideas coming to this board and why these theories are wrong:
1. this is a short covering rally. remember this rally to 18 has come on thin volume, which has caught many people by surprise. even today on low volume and a bad day, the stock gave back little.
2. why idtc has not fallen after the rally? it would, but shorts are still closing. check the volume and the recent accumulation by mlco and others. the only thing idtc suffers from is the lack of sellers, and hence even small buying pressure sends idtc up, on low volume.
3. we need a cc on telefonica. the stock has rallied 20% since the telefonica story was broken prematurely by dow jones and analysts have talked to the company and put out there reports.
4. the street hates idtc. the street does not hate idtc, the street does not inconsistancy. based on the white paper and the meeting with analysts, idtc mgmt appears to be understanding the message. meet the numbers.
5. without ntop what is left of idtc? see the portals, backbone, calling cards, isp,.....
6. institutions will not buy this stock. check out the recent accumulation by some of the mm, clearly they were not small investors sitting on the bid purchasing 100's of thousands of shares.
7. time to take your profit/loss and move it into _________.
idtc is way oversold and if one reads the reports hawaii has been posting by the analysts one sees that not even the price of the ntop holdings is reflected in the current idtc price. can you say value play?
8. no ntop shares for idtc holders. currently that is true, but if mgmt redoes the loan secured by the shares, they can spinoff shares to shareholders, or even right now give a 1 for 10 dividend. keep in mind idtc can still spinoff the shares.
9. earnings will be down again this q. read the recent white paper by hj. idtc has a plan to compete and stay. they will be the carriers, carrier.
10. revs will be down. hear the last cc? hj expects idtc to earn over 1 billion this year. they are selling at less than .5 revs.
there really is not many places idtc can go but up, with there isp, backbone, dsl, portals, ntop, switches, phonecards, 1 billion in revs,..... |
