Hi Yogi;<OT> The Fraternity that I allude to is in my mind the re-organization of one that was exposed & supposedly disbanded. a secret society, founded on May 1, 1776 by Adam Weishaupt, who was professor of canon law at the University of Ingolstadt." It was called the Illuminati ( the enlighten ones ) John Robison, an eighteenth century historian was entrusted with some of the original documents and correspondence of the them. In his book, Proofs of a Conspiracy, written in 1798, he reproduced major segments of the Illuminati's original writings.
Basically they appear as the forerunners and supporters of fascism. They used the term New World Order long before it became a common term & an examination of their writings causes me to believe they are really a gang or Organized Anarchists. Organized anarchists is an oxymoron but that didn't or don't seem to bother them.
It's supposed to have been dissolved when it's master plan of how to create a New World Order became exposed, as they preached it could only succeed "in no other way but by secret associations, which will by degrees, and in silence, possess themselves of the government of the Nations, and make use of those means for this purpose..." But the power that is in an "invisible empire" is of such nature that I'm convinced they just stopped recruiting openly and went underground, no way they dissolved. While they recruited from Masons and such they were also condemned by them. Jim
