there are NO published case studies that anyone knows of.
my naive searcher for one reason and one reason only:
POTENTIAL of NEGLIGENCE/LAWSUITS.

just tell us this:
WOULD YOU name the utility where YOU found
the bugs and blew the whistle/reported it to management, etc. afterall, it is the anonymous internet isn't it? who are you afraid
might be listening in on just us chickens (littles?) sharing a little shop talk?

and you have the balls to ask others to be more forthcoming
when you are NOT about the state of readiness at YOUR job,
where YOUR paycheck is coming from,
where YOUR retirement plan matching is occuring?

i have to give you an "A" for courage to ask i guess, but i just can't believe you expect more from total strangers than you are willing to provide total strangers? wouldn't be afraid for YOUR job would you?

or is it that ron might tell koskinen who might tell your boss and then you'd be afraid for more than your 'job?'

for christ's sakes, man, if YOU have first hand knowledge of pipeline failures, what ELSE would YOU need to spread the word? to get yourself in gear, prepared and moved out of town with YOUR loved ones?? would you require a duplicate of the flash fire blow-outs in ordinary, running along the back of a subdivision creek like killed those two little boys sneaking a smoke and being careless with a goldurned cigarette lighter up near seattle a few weeks back from a non-serviced leaking pipeline?

you don't think those 2 sets of grieving parents are talking serious lawsuit monies right now with some sharp lawyer with an eye to the deep pockets of the offending pipeline companies?

and you want SOMEONE ELSE TO DOCUMENT what you won't provide?

how sad. how very very sad!!!
