Check out this site for airline tickets to Hawaii. $700 or less depending on where you live for the first quarter of 2000.

I bought my tickets from them for next February, and I am very satisfied with the price and service.

If this is your first trip to Hawaii, then any island will be great. Also you should not spend more than 2 days in Oahu. Use one day to go to Pearl Harbor and visit the Arizona Memorial. Take the navy tour which is the best way to see it. The other site worth seeing is the Punch Bowl National Memorial Cemetery. You can visit both in the same day, or do one each day. The rest of Oahu reminded me of a big major US city. If I wanted that I could go to New York City and get the same atmosphere. During the first quarter, the Humpback Whales migrate to the Hawaiian Islands where they give birth to there caves. Whale watching is spectacular during this time, and I have found that the best places to watch is on Maui or the Big Island. Kauai and Maui are without a doubt the best islands for relaxation and pure enjoyment. We are going to Maui in February for three weeks. In my opinion, Maui is without a doubt the best vacation island. If you go to Kauai, don't stay on the Northeast section of the island. It rains there almost every day. The southern part of the island is the best. I can send you information on places to stay if you are interested. I would prefer to do that by private e-mail, as I don't like making public recommendations.
