Good morning, oh barefoot-one and dog-who- runs- true! One of the things that seems to be missing here is a sense of shame. People are going to gloat over Bush as a hypocrite? Why? Because he took stock many years ago, and by all reports turned his life around? (Frankly, to many people he would be a better moral example than someone like me, who has never been wild, because there are more people out there needing to clean up their acts). Anyway, after Mr. Bubba's wild ride, which, be it remembered, we would never have been put through had Billy Jeff not played the Bible- toting centrist who extolled those who "work hard and play by the rules", it is shameless to leap on any allegation against Bush and overwork it. Let the chips fall, the primary season is still well ahead of us, and if there is anything to truly derail the man's candidacy, I am sure that the story will be properly developed soon enough. The field of candidates is strong, if Bush must retire from the field we will still probably win, but I still think that if there were much of anything to find, he would not have run, and so I find the gloating on the thread not only shameless, but premature.....
