Yes ynot, definitely. Particularly split block sales. For example 20,000 at the offer 20,000 at the offer... possibly 2 brokers sharing misc trades 20,000 at the offer 20,000 at the offer... again sharing (also consider specialist sharing 30,000 at the offer 30,000 at the offer... hmmmm... big buyer??? 47,200 at the offer... ok, buyer's cleaned up... done If price drops below bid, no one's left to support it... get short or cover longs.
