Re: Controlling the contents of the thread. . . . . . Wally, personally, I believe controlling the contents of a thread is not at all desirable. It would result in a very narrow point of view and would stifle the exchange of opinions, both pro and con, that makes SI so useful. . . . . . . . What I would like to see is the individual poster control his or her own post to the extent that type I responses are eliminated completely from the threads or are used solely in threads where such responses are a part of the original intent of the thread. So I see any controls as coming from the group as a whole. How we do this is the question. Regards, Stan
