If the purpose is a split, then they must be anticipating a huge jump in price in the short term for it would be insane to split at the current substantially reduced price. I don't know if a good quarter will do the trick of returning the price to the 40's, or whether there is some other announcement in the works, such as the end of the accounting cloud that has been hanging over the company. While I am of the belief that the Price-Waternhouse opinion resolved the issue (though I know others disagree), it would still be nice to see this issue put to rest with some finality. SHG
