We'll have to see if this bank merger improves their financial liquidity.

I personally look at it like a humongous reverse split, turning 3 public faces of the Japanese MOF, into one.

Now it makes me wonder why they need a BOJ??

I don't begrudge the Japanese a financial/economic recovery. I just don't think they underwent everything they must pass through on the way to financial health.

And that's why I think the Nikkei will retrace some intermediate, if not all time, lows.
