RB Speculations...

Folks, there's been especially wonderful and intriguing posts on RB of late.

I suggest everybody take a look at Nelzoni and Ducatti's posts from yesterday. Pay particular attention to the recently renamed division of Sarnoff... now called Nxtwave (or Nxt-Wave)... used to be called Sarnoff Digital Communications. Some of Sarnoff Digital's seed money came from storage and chip luminary Al Shugart. And Sarnoff Digital has had lots of dealings with Motorola.

Then there's the whole set of German translations which make all manner of interesting connections between Wave and VLSI and banks and others. (Incidentally, VLSI was recently merged into Philips...)

Then, before that, there was the Novitera (nee inTelecast) mention in another German article.

Bottom line: heck if I know what's going on.
