"S&P Upgrades Anadarko Petroleum Shares to Buy" personalwealth.com S&P upgraded its investment recommendation on shares of Anadarko Petroleum (NYSE: APC) to 5 STARS (buy) from 3 STARS (hold). Analyst Norman Rosenberg says APC is well-positioned to benefit from strong gas prices. According to Rosenberg, the company is the clear industry leader in terms of growing its reserve base, with much better than average reserve life, reserve replacement, and finding costs. He says APC is now trading at a solid discount to his estimated reserve value per share, and sees this as a chance to buy one of the industry's top players at a good price.
