No profits for Apple this year Sorry to say, but I heard on CNN news, that Apple does not expect to return to profitability until next year. I am also sympathetic to Apple but I have given up and dumped all my shares. Did you noticed all the unsold performas sitting on store shelfs?. Apple has to concentrate on the high end models and bring their price down to competitive levels if they want to survive. Also need to create a software giant to support the Mac OS. Can you trust Microsoft to do anything?
