Agree... amazing the manipulation that goes on every third Friday of a month. Really quite a simple formula: whatever entity has the largest position of options finds the closest strike price that makes them the most or losses them the least and just 'sticks' it right there. Ben Antanaitis has an interesting site regarding a more general concept he terms Max-Pain[TM]. In smaller issues I think it would be simple to manipulate prices in the manner I'm writing about... Watched it happen in my own position in ADPT, uncanny how the price was 'ushered' down to literally a 1/16 below the closest strike and then just lay dead in the water till close. No day's chart EVER looked like that all month. Regulation is a joke.
